Privacy Policy

How this browser player handles playlist files, source requests, website hosting information and preferences.

This iiPTV Privacy Policy covers the public player, playlist tools and informational pages at iiptv.app. iiPTV does not require registration or a payment to use the public player. This privacy policy describes current application behavior, source requests, display preferences, website hosting information and messages you choose to send. Questions can be sent through Contact to support@iiptv.app.

Playlist privacy for files and addresses

Playlist privacy during local file import

When you choose a supported M3U, JSON or CSV file, iiPTV reads it in your browser. The public player and playlist tools do not upload that file to a storage service, attach it to an account or create a playlist record in a server database. Local editing and conversion use this browser workflow.

When browser storage is available, the player saves the parsed playlist and last selected channel locally in IndexedDB. Refreshing or reopening the player restores them; playback may require pressing Play again. A successful new import replaces the previous cached list. The original file contents and import URL are not saved separately, but parsed media URLs and metadata can contain private access tokens or credentials.

Using Clear deletes the player cache, removes the imported state and stops playback. Clearing this website's browser storage also deletes the cache. This local cache is not an account library, cross-device backup or recovery service, and your browser can remove it.

Tool working copies remain in page memory until you open them in the player, where the parsed list is cached as described above. The one-use transfer itself stays in memory and expires after five minutes or page exit.

Your original file remains wherever you saved it. Clearing the player does not delete that file from your device or remove copies you have sent elsewhere. Browser features and other software can retain information independently of iiPTV's imported state.

Playlist privacy and direct source requests

When you import a remote playlist or select a media source, your browser connects directly to the relevant third-party hosts. iiPTV does not send those addresses through a server-side playlist or playback proxy. Stream checks contact the selected hosts; HLS analysis reads the manifest without fetching segments or encryption keys. Actual HLS playback can request those additional resources.

A source host can receive your IP address, browser-provided request information and any credentials included in its address. It can process that information under its own practices and policy. iiPTV does not control those hosts, their logs or their retention periods. Check the publisher's information before using a private or unfamiliar source.

Playlist privacy for private URLs

iiPTV does not place imported playlist addresses in its own page URL or generate public share links from them. This does not make a token-bearing source address safe to publish. Credentials can appear in a URL path or query parameters, and a screenshot of the input can reveal the same information as the link itself.

The Xtream tool formats endpoint URLs locally without contacting the provider during generation. Copy and download deliberately include supplied credentials; an explicit player action requests the chosen playlist. Downloaded files, clipboard contents and screenshots can retain sensitive text outside iiPTV. Remove credentials from feedback and use redacted examples.

Preferences and website requests

Theme and language preferences

iiPTV can save a display theme in local browser storage and a language preference in a cookie. These settings are separate from the player cache. Clearing website storage removes both the cached playlist and saved preferences, and the interface can return to its default or browser-selected presentation.

Browser storage is specific to each website origin. If you move to a different domain, playlists, pins and preferences do not transfer automatically. Import your original playlist or a previously exported copy here. The new site cannot recover the old origin's cache after that origin becomes unavailable.

Your browser may independently retain downloaded files, browsing history or addresses opened outside the player. A preference reset is therefore different from removing those separate records. Consult your browser's controls if you want to clear information beyond the website's own saved settings.

Hosting, delivery and security information

Serving iiPTV requires requests to its hosting provider. Operational and security records may include an IP address, request time, browser information and the website path requested. The website does not promise that every hosting, network or device layer keeps zero logs.

Retention depends on the hosting configuration and applicable operational or legal requirements. iiPTV does not publish a fixed deletion deadline for every hosting record. If you have a specific question, identify the relevant website request and approximate time through Contact, without attaching an unrelated private playlist.

Analytics and external links

iiPTV loads Google Analytics on its public pages to measure website visits and page navigation. Your browser sends analytics requests to Google, and the analytics script can use cookies. iiPTV does not add imported playlist contents or source credentials to analytics events. Display preferences and the requests necessary to serve the website are described separately above.

Links to outside documentation or source repositories open services with their own policies. Following such a link can disclose ordinary request information to that service. A reference in an iiPTV guide does not mean the third party shares this privacy policy or is operated by iiPTV.

Privacy policy for information you send to support

Emailing the published address provides your email address and whatever information you include. iiPTV uses that message to investigate an issue, reply or handle the request. Messages may be processed by the email service used to operate the support address.

Share the smallest useful description: browser and operating system versions, reproduction steps, demo result and a redacted error. Check screenshots and log excerpts before sending them. Complete network exports can contain signed URLs, cookies or headers beyond the visible problem.

Support records are separate from the player's browser-local cache. iiPTV does not provide a personal support archive through the public player. Keep a copy of your message and original source files if you need them later.

Use, sharing and retention

iiPTV uses website operational information to deliver and protect the website, and support information to respond to requests. We do not sell imported playlists or create an account playlist library. Hosting and email providers can process information necessary to perform those services.

Information may also be handled when required by applicable law or to address a concrete security or rights concern. Support and hosting records can have different retention needs, including an ongoing request, investigation or applicable duty. iiPTV does not control how a third-party media host retains a request it has already received.

Your choices under this privacy policy

You can avoid fetching a remote playlist by importing a permitted local copy. Playing a remote channel still contacts its source. Use Clear in the player or clear this website's browser storage to remove the cached list. Closing the page stops playback but keeps the cache for your next visit. Those actions do not recall requests already delivered to a source host.

For data handled by iiPTV, contact us with enough information to identify the request. Access, correction or deletion requests are handled according to applicable requirements and the information actually held. Requests about another host's records must go to that host. Read the Terms of Service for source permissions and Compatibility for the current direct-browser workflow.
