Xtream converter: Codes to M3U
Build M3U, XMLTV and API URLs from your Xtream server and credentials locally. Copy an endpoint or open the playlist without putting credentials in the page URL.

The iiPTV Xtream converter builds provider endpoint URLs from a server address, username and password. It helps when a service supplies login details instead of a ready-made playlist link. Generation takes place locally; it does not contact the provider to authenticate the account or fetch a channel catalogue.
Use the Xtream converter only with credentials issued for a service you are authorized to access. The generated addresses contain those credentials, so they should be treated like a password rather than a harmless public link. A correctly formed URL is a formatting result, not a guarantee that the provider supports it.
On this page: enter details, choose output, understand endpoints, follow an example, protect credentials, and questions.
Enter the provider details in the Xtream converter
Use the server address provided by your service, including its scheme and any documented port or base path. Enter the username and password separately. The Xtream converter encodes these values when constructing query parameters, so punctuation should not be manually replaced with partial escape sequences first.
Check the hostname carefully before using a generated address. An Xtream converter cannot decide whether a similarly spelled host belongs to your provider. Confirm domain changes through the provider's established channel.
Missing credentials or an unsupported URL scheme need correction before generation. An Xtream converter does not repair a malformed portal address by finding an alternative source. The password visibility control can help you check typing locally, but consider who can see your screen before revealing it.
Choose an Xtream converter output deliberately
M3U Plus requests an extended playlist shape that can carry channel metadata when the provider implements it. Other output choices request transport-stream or HLS delivery conventions. The Xtream converter constructs the relevant address; actual support and returned contents remain the provider's responsibility.
Do not infer browser compatibility from the selected label alone. An HLS request can still depend on inaccessible resources, unsupported codecs or account restrictions. The Xtream converter is separate from iiPTV's playback capabilities, which are described on Compatibility.
If the provider supplies a documented playlist URL already, you may not need this step. Import that authorized address directly or save a permitted local copy. The Xtream converter is convenient for translating known login details into conventional endpoints, rather than guessing a service's private API contract.
Read the six Xtream converter endpoint types
Catalogue and guide addresses
The generated set includes live television, video-on-demand and series catalogue addresses, plus an XMLTV guide address. An Xtream converter can format those conventional routes without proving that a particular server implements them. Some services expose catalogues differently or restrict them to their own application.
Account and category API addresses
Panel and player API addresses serve different purposes from a playable media URL. The Xtream converter labels them separately so you do not mistake account or category JSON for a stream. Opening a guide or API endpoint also does not add an EPG interface to iiPTV's browser player.
Copy the result needed by the destination application, not every address indiscriminately. An Xtream converter exposes credentials in each constructed query, including routes that do not point to video. Share them only with software and people you intend to authorize, and follow your provider's documented compatibility requirements.
Check an Xtream converter example safely
Imagine a provider has supplied a host, a username containing an ampersand and a password containing a question mark. The Xtream converter keeps those characters inside their parameter values through URL encoding. Otherwise the punctuation could be interpreted as part of the surrounding query structure.
For illustration, https://example.com:8080 is a sample host, not a television service supplied by iiPTV. An Xtream converter demonstration should use invented values like these rather than real subscriber details. Never paste a genuine credential-bearing URL into a public support issue to show its format.
Standard query-parameter handling is documented by MDN's URLSearchParams reference. The Xtream converter uses URL construction as a local text operation. Encoding preserves the value's structure; it does not encrypt the credentials or prevent anyone holding the complete address from reading them.
Protect an Xtream converter session
Generation itself does not send the credentials to the provider. An explicit later import or playback action requests the selected origin directly from your browser. The Xtream converter is not an iiPTV proxy, and a provider can observe those subsequent connections under its own policies.
Do not save private addresses in public bookmarks, screenshots or shared notes. Clipboard synchronization and downloads can retain sensitive strings outside this page. The Xtream converter does not persist a personal credential library; closing or refreshing the session loses its in-memory working values.
Ordinary page analytics and theme or language preferences are separate from credential generation. Read the Privacy Policy for iiPTV's handling boundaries. When contacting Support, describe the input format and visible error with redacted examples; a Xtream converter problem report should not include your provider password.
Xtream converter questions
Does the Xtream converter validate my subscription?
No. Creating a URL does not log in, check expiry, reserve a connection or renew an account. Contact the provider for subscription status and supported endpoints. Repeating generation with unchanged values cannot solve an authorization failure.
Why does a generated address fail in the browser?
The provider may require a different endpoint, deny cross-origin reads or offer an HTTP-only resource that a secure page cannot use. Use playlist loading help to distinguish a valid-looking address from an accessible catalogue.
Can I open the live playlist immediately?
The player handoff uses a one-time in-memory transfer, without placing credentials in an iiPTV navigation URL or persistent browser storage. The source must still allow import and provide supported media. Press Play yourself; generation and handoff do not promise automatic playback.
